Mollie and Tim’s Lawrence, KS Wedding Photography at The Oread | 11.14.2015

We had such a great time with Tim and Mollie at their engagement session and were so excited to share in their wedding day too! They are such a fun and sweet couple and so completely in love with each other! They got married in Lawrence, KS at The Oread Hotel, a beautiful elegant hotel that sites high in the middle of Lawrence. It overlooks the KU campus with gorgeous stone walls and a view for miles!

Mollie and Tim had their ‘first look’ on the terrace at The Oread Hotel where they had a special moment with each other and we took gorgeous photos. Afterwards, we joined up with the wedding party and hopped on the party bus to take photos around Lawrence. We took some beautiful photos at the train in the park on the KU campus at Kansas University‘s Campanile. It was an amazing day with a beautiful couple and we are so happy for Mollie and Tim! Congratulations and God bless you two!

Deffenbaugh High School Senior and Family Photos – Lifestyle Portrait Photography

We had the privilege of shooting the Deffenbaugh’s family portraits and Jacob’s senior photos a couple weeks ago when we went down to Wichita. They are such a fun and cool family! I actually went to high school with Ryan and it’s hard to believe his boys are the age we were when we roamed the halls of Northwest High School. They have a beautiful house just outside of Wichita that gave us gorgeous backdrops for their family portraits. We also went into Towanda and to Circle High School to get more photos of Jacob and the family. Jacob was such a trooper during the shoot as he was missing out on his girlfriend’s volleyball game. We were able to get some stellar shots of him with his car at sunset that hopefully made it worth missing the game 🙂 Thank you Deffenbaugh Family and Congratulations Jacob! Have a great senior year!

Jill & Conor – Kansas City Wedding – 7.18.15

It all started with pizza in the Little Apple of Manhattan, Kansas when Jill and Conor worked together at Domino’s. They started to see more than just pepperoni in each other’s eyes and soon fell in love. They both went to Kansas State University and are huge Wildcat fans… GO K-State!

Jill and Conor had their wedding ceremony in Kansas City at the gorgeous Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Lenexa. We went to Loose Park to take photos before the reception. Their wedding reception was at the Overland Park Convention Center and it highlighted Jill and Conor’s K-State pride with a stunning purple lit ballroom accented by purple floral centerpieces that made for some beautiful photos! Not to mention Conor had a Powercat groom’s cake from Hy-vee and they played the Wabash Cannonball at the reception.

Jill looked stunning in her dress with her hair from Beauty Brands and makeup at bareMinerals. Conor rocked his tux and together they looked amazing and so in love! The beautiful bouquets and flowers were from KP Event Design. They were such a fun couple and we had lots of fun capturing their wedding… Jill’s mom was getting down to Usher and I even broke out my old school breakdance moves by doing ‘the worm’ on the dance floor as you will see in the photos. Ropp Studios was there to capture all the fun on video. Congratulations to Jill and Conor!

July 4th Fireworks – Corporate Woods in Overland Park, Kansas

We had an amazing time at the annual fireworks show at Corporate Woods this year to celebrate Independence Day. Every year Corporate Woods in Overland Park, Kansas puts on a big fireworks display and it never disappoints. Crissy Ryun – Miss Kansas USA 2016 Pageant Contestant

We were happy to shoot Crissy Ryun’s headshot this week. Crissy is competing in the Miss Kansas USA Pageant in November. She is a very beautiful girl inside and out. We wish her the best in the upcoming pageant and have no doubt she will do well. Blessings to you Crissy!
