The pursuit of becoming a professional photographer started when I attended Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California. I became fascinated with fashion photography where I could take ordinary people and making them extra-ordinary! I continued my journey by moving to Los Angeles, working along side some of photography¹s greats. I was fortunate to learn from the best and found myself working with Kathy Ireland, Susan Walters, Candace Michelle and many others. After developing a strong resume, my Midwest roots brought me back to the great state of Kansas where my family and heart have always been. It was there that I reluctantly shot my first wedding as a professional photographer not realizing that the experience would forever change me…
Weddings have become very special to me as a photographer. The wedding day is the most cherished day in a person¹s life, and often the day that has been dreamed about by the bride since she was a child. We are there to capture that dream as it unfolds into a real life story. It is total utopia to be able to capture the emotions of a love story and combine it with fashion photography to create beautiful everlasting photographs for our couples.
I have also been blessed with my beautiful wife, Ashley! She is a wonderful photographer and can always be found shooting along side me and behind the scenes of our business. We make a great team and always have a blast photographing and working together. We had a beautiful wedding in August of 2010 and have an even larger appreciation for what our couples experience in the wedding process.
My heart for people and fascination with perfecting beauty inspired me to become a Professional Wedding Photographer and I look forward to what the future holds.
