Alex Smith’s Football ProCamp – Kansas City Chiefs – June 2016

We were excited to be back at the 3rd Annual Alex Smith Hy-vee Football ProCamp earlier this month. The Kansas City Chiefs’ quarterback hosted his two-day camp at Shawnee Mission West High School this year. The weather was great and kids enjoyed taking tips and playing football with the 2014 Pro Bowler. Alex Smith is such a classy guy and he joyfully made it around to play with each team and run drills with every kid. I even saw Alex console a kid that was crying and with a few words and a pat on the head the kid was smiling again. It is great to see Alex bring so much joy to the kids and he spends every minute of the camp with them. There was also a VIP Reception at lunch time that allowed some special fans to meet and greet Alex and get an autograph. Food was provided by Chik-fil-A and the cow was out in the heat grazing the football field.  At the end of the camp every camper received an autographed photo with Alex and their team.
